Wash Your Hands
Before touching your contact lenses, always wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Dry them with a clean, lint-free towel to ensure no dirt or bacteria transfer to your eyes.
Look in the Mirror
Stand in front of a mirror in a well-lit area. This will help you see the lens clearly and make the process easier.
Hold Your Eyelids
Use one hand to pull down your lower eyelid. With your other hand, gently pull up your upper eyelid. This helps keep your eye open and makes it easier to remove the lens.
Pinch the Lens
Using the thumb and index finger of the hand holding the lens, gently pinch the contact lens. Avoid pinching too hard to prevent damaging the lens or your eye.
Remove the Lens
Once you've pinched the lens, slowly and gently remove it from your eye. If you have difficulty, you can try using a rewetting solution or contact lens remover to make the lens easier to take out.
Repeat for the Other Eye
Repeat the same process for your other eye. Always remove the same lens first to avoid mixing up left and right lenses.
Clean and Store the Lenses
After removing your lenses, clean them with the proper contact lens solution before storing them in their case. Make sure the case is clean and filled with fresh solution each time.
